Some Better Shading Tips

It seems to look better if you go all the way around the drawing to shade. Shade around the edge of the art and where you have outlined things. If you are trying to shade in a cat's ear or something, then use a darker color and make a c shape on the ear. Color it in and it will look like the ear is more 3D. Instead of going around an eye, just shade underneath the eye.
Here is an example of that shading:

How to shade on QueekyPaint!

I've been using QueekyPaint, a totally free, no needed download or account website! So, I'll be showing how I do my shading on it. Of course, draw out what your doing.

(Already color in the eyes and nose)

Color in the body the base color of what you want the art you drew to be.

Then use the spray tool:
Use a darker color ( Change pencil color to darker, not bucket fill one) and spray around the edges where you want the shading.

Now for lightening. Do the same thing, but don't go over the darkness and get a lighter color than the base.

How I make a Wolf :3

Hi people, today I'll show you how I made a wolf! It will look something like this:

I start with a sketch in a different color than black.

First do a circle and a snout:

Then make a body tail and stick legs xD:

Outline it with black and don't forget to add ears and forelock!

Then erase the lighter color to leave you with the black!

Add the eye and toes. To add the toes, I guess make ovals or circle things on the paws O,O (Also make nose and mouth)

To make the eyes, make a curved thing on the top and another on the bottom then make a line at the front connecting.

Then fill it in! Add a darker color than the pelt on the second fore-leg. Also add a darker shade of the eye color on most of the eye!

How I make a 'Cat Eye & Face"

Hi! Here are some steps when I draw something like this:

I start with the eye:

Then I do the pupil:

Then I will make the nose:

Then do the forelock and erase the part of the eye you covered:

Then you can color it in! Though when you color in the eye, make part of it a darker shade of what the eye color is as shown below. (You can also add eyelashes)
